Pets must be able to turn around and stand up in their carriers. Dimensions of carrier: 19 in. by 13 in. by 9 in. The pet carrier is considered a personal item or carry-on bag. There is a limit of one pet carrier per booked passenger, and there are additional costs. Pet Age Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and have documentation of their immunizations in order to travel. Service Dogs: The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Service Animal Air Transportation form must be filled out and submitted before your journey as of February 1, 2021, when only trained service animals will be allowed to fly in the cabin. Pets may travel at temperatures as low as 20°F (-6.6°C) with an acclimation certificate, but they cannot travel at temperatures below 45°F.
